Advanced Armour Engineering (AAE) signs manufacturing licence agreement with WireTech to produce defence wiring systems in the UAE.

Press Release, Sharjah UAE, 21 August 2026: Advanced Armour Engineering (AAE) has officially signed a strategic manufacturing partnership agreement with Kazakhstan’s leading harness manufacturer, WireTech, to produce mission-critical wiring harnesses, cabling looms, and accessories under licence in the United Arab Emirates for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market.
The agreement was formalised during an official signing ceremony attended by Tim Leam, CEO of Advanced Armour Engineering (AAE), alongside Diyar Khamzin, CEO of WireTech, and Askhat Aliyev, Technical Director of WireTech. Under the terms of the agreement, AAE will establish licensed manufacturing operations in a dedicated, environmentally controlled facility in the UAE. Commercial production is scheduled to commence in Q4 2026. The facility will specialise in high-reliability electrical systems engineered specifically for armoured fighting vehicles, tactical military platforms, and severe-duty commercial transport applications.

The new production line will operate to international military and automotive quality benchmarks, addressing rising regional demand for localised, high-spec electrical distribution systems built for extreme operating environments.
